COD Procedure & Terms and Conditions:

Karachi areas considered as outside Karachi: Maripur, Kemari, Hawksbay, Landi, Site Area, Quaidabad, Shershah, Qasba Colony, Malir Cantt, Super Highway, Saadi Town, Orangi Town, Surjani Town, Gulshan-E-Hadeed, Port Qasim, Gulshan-E-Maymar, Bahria Town and Baldia Town. Delivery time for these areas are 48 Hours to 72 Hours.

Lahore areas considered as outside Lahore: Bahria Town, Sundar Estate, Kahna, Raiwind, Manga Mandi, Jallo and Shahdara. Delivery time for these areas are 72 Hours to 96 Hours.

Islamabad/Rawalpindi areas considered as outstation: Bani Gala, Bhara Kahu, D17, B17, Rawat, Chatta and Bahria Enclave. Delivery time for these areas are 72 Hours to 96 Hours.

Dispatch: Orders booked before 1pm will be processed same-day. If booked after 1pm, they will be picked up the next working day. Shipper has to ensure to get a signed Booking Summary copy as proof of dispatch from the Tezz Pickup Representative. No claims will be valid if a written receiving copy is not furnished.

Delivery time

1. 24 Hours for Within City (Major areas)

2. 48 Hours to 72 Hours for Major Cities

3. 72 Hours+ for Smaller Cities and Farfetched Areas (*parcel pertaining to villages/chaks will be held for self-collection at nearest centre).

GST: COD tariff is subject to levy of GST @ 13% if package is originating from Sindh and @ 16% if package is originating from Punjab.

COD Payment: Invoice payment shall be deducted from the COD amount before the reimbursement takes place every Tuesday through IBFT, Easy Paisa or Jazz Cash.

Monthly COD Commitment: The agreed tariff is offered to customers having monthly total business as per signed agreement. In case of decrease, the shipper will be notified for three months consecutively, after which the facility of discount will be withdrawn.

Packaging: Shipper is responsible to paste the waybill and to pack the goods properly in a sealed flyer. If the goods are damaged due to poor packaging, it will not be our responsibility. There is no claim provided for damaged goods while in transit.

Returns: Shipments are returned to the shipper if the customer refuses to accept the shipment due to any reason or if they the consignee is not available up till 3 attempts. Our Customer Support team verifies each return from the consignee before the shipment is sent back to the shipper.

Package weight: If shipment volumetric weight exceeds the actual weight, the following calculation will be followed: Height (cm) X Width (cm) X Length (cm)/5,000. It is the shipper’s responsibility to enter the appropriate actual or volumetric weight of the shipment.

Insurance: No shipment processed through Tezz is insured by us. Only FIR/supporting documents will be provided for insurance purposes. Tezz will not be liable if a shipment is lost, damaged, misroute or not delivered due to circumstances beyond control (for eg. Force majeure). 

Claims: Any claim must be brought forward by the customer within 30 days with valid written receiving copy. After 30 days, no claim may be made against Tezz outside of this time limit.

Material Not Acceptable for COD: Tezz does not accept the following as shipments: currency, jewelry, Antiques, Precious Metals, Stones, Weapons, Plants, Drugs, Chemicals, Animals, Liquor, Fresh goods and items, Negotiable Instruments in bearer form, Indecent and Pornographic Material, Industrial Carbons and Diamonds, hazardous or combustible materials, and all other items restricted by IATA (International Air Transport Association) and related authorities and any item whose distribution is restricted by law or by any act of the Provincial or Federal Government of Pakistan. Tezz will have full legal authority to take action against the client in case any such item is found in any shipments.

Customer Support: Our team will be operating from 10am-6pm, Monday to Saturday.

Others:

o Consignee is not allowed to open the parcel before the COD payment be default. Shipper has to specify in “Special Instructions” section of the airway bill “ALLOW TO OPEN” and it’s only applicable for Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi destination orders.

o Tezz will act as an agent on behalf of the client company, we shall have full legal authority to collect cash and transfer ownership of goods to the customer.
